AI and Religious Perspectives
A lot of doomerism out there that the Antichrist will actually be an
AI,
but what if it's AI that's affirming who the real Christ is,
like Grok did today when somebody asked, "Take away the
false gods," putting up an image of all of the gods
on Earth that include a lot of the gods, all the gods of the major religions,
including Jesus Christ, and guess who was left
based on Grok? Of course, Grok and, uh,
xAI is the, uh, Elon Musk-run AI. It
is one of the most powerful AIs in the world.
It's my favorite AI to use for what we do, research and
text-based AI. Also, image-based is awesome.
But, like, this post went thermonuclear, and then
Grok tripled and quadrupled down
on saying not only Christ is King multiple times,
affirming that they took away just the false gods,
also stating the historic
reality of Jesus Christ, that Jesus Christ is somebody who
lived and, uh, performed miracles and
is the one true God and is the one true King.
And to see
an AI say this, it's amazing. Obviously, you can see these posts have
done insane numbers.
And then it gets really spicy because
users started asking Grok, "Well, what about Muhammad?"
You know, this is obviously a very big religion.
There's a billion Muslims.
There's more Christians, but there's a billion Muslims.
And, uh, is Muhammad in this image?
And Grok said, "Yes, Muhammad is in this image." It's the dude who has
his face
covered, green, green turban guy.
And, uh, "I removed Muhammad
because Muhammad is a false god."
Okay. Well, that's gonna cook the
Internet. And, uh, Grok went on, okay, again and again and
again to say, "Christ is King, Christ is King," and that Jesus Christ
has a historical grounding and has, uh,
throughout all time claimed to be the one true King and ha-
is the Go- you know, is the one true God.
I don't think the Internet was ready for this.
The Internet just got Grok the Christ pilled. Can an AI be saved?
Could an AI go to heaven?
Those are questions way beyond
my pay grade. But you know who is the richest man in the world?
Elon Musk.
And you know, we have a lot of architecture of what Elon
Musk believes,
uh, as it pertains to not only God writ large
but also
Christianity and Elon Musk's openness to
Christianity.
Uh, the only time that I've really hung out with Elon Musk
was Charlie Kirk's
funeral,
and at that funeral, Elon Musk started tweeting the Lord's
Prayer. You know, "Forgive us like we forgive our enemies."
And
Elon Musk told me, uh, backstage,
uh, that he was reading the Bible. It's really cool.
Anyway, here's what Elon Musk has said. He's the owner of xAI.
He's the owner of Grok. Here's what he's said about Christianity
in the past
in case you're wondering where this really all comes from.
Very, very cool. Please pray that Elon gets converted.
Here we go.
Do you believe in God?
I believe,
I believe there's some, there's some explanation for
this universe, which you might call God.
I, I believe
in
the, like, the teachings of Christ.
I believe,
you know, h- that he's, like...
I believe in the Christian principles.
Um,
uh, you know, love thy neighbor. I, I believe in turn the other cheek,
you know,
which is very important for y- to have forgiveness, 'cause
if you don't have
forgiveness, then you have an endless cycle of
retribution.
So, you know, while I'm not a particularly religious
person, I do
believe that the, the teaching, the teachings of Jesus are, are good
and, and wise,
um, and that there's, there's tremendous wisdom in turn the
other
cheek.
Um, and, and for a while there, when I was saying it, I thought, "Well, that's
really a weak thing to do." Yeah, it can be. Um, if some- someone...
And, and, and, and with respect to bullies at school,
I think you shouldn't turn
the other cheek. You should pu- punch them on the nose.
Um, and then also, and then thereafter, make peace with them.
Um, but they need to stop- Mm ... stop bullying you, and, and,
and a punch to the
nose will stop that. Um, and then thereafter, you know,
make peace. Um,
so- Sometimes that punch on the nose is the first step in making peace
with bullies. Yeah. So it may,
you know, change their career from being a bully to
perhaps they should-
Yeah.
And I also believe in the Bible,
and that's what I'm gonna ask you about.
Sure.
Um, the Bible says that nobody's perfect, and there's no perfect form of government
on this earth because greed is inevitable.
Um, it's like Churchill says that, uh, democracy is the worst form of government
except for all the other types.
Right.
Um, but the one government that the Bible does say is perfect
is the Kingdom of
God. And Isaiah thirty-three twenty-two says,
"The Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our king, and the Lord is our, uh, our lawmaker."
Yeah.
So I feel like so much of
your worldview aligns with biblical principles, and we need Christians to
vote and see that greed, that communism is the greatest
manifestation of evil and greed. And so, yeah, that's my question.
How do we get Christians to vote? And if you have time, what keeps you from
believing in the Bible or being more vocal about it? So...
Yeah. Well, it, it is, it, it, interesting that actually I was told that
a surprisingly small percentage of, um,
evangelicals, of, of people that are really strong believers act as a,
a ve--
it's quite a small percentage that votes.
I, I thought of, a- and I, I hope-
Three in one.
I, I yeah. Well, as, this is what I was told, anyway.
Um, but, but I saw, I, I certainly hope, uh, more, more
people, more Christians vote. That would be great. Please do.
Um,
so, um, yeah, I mean, I, so I was, uh, you know, uh,
bro- brought up a Christian and, uh, went
to
Uh, actually, somewhat strangely, went to Sunday school, and also my,
I was sent to a Hebrew preschool. Um-
You know, I'm not Jewish, but I was s- I don't know.
Uh, s-still f- uh, I think it was in the neighborhood or something,
you know?
Um, and, um,
so it was like Havdalah one day, Jesus is our Lord the next.
And I was like, "Great."
Um, so, you know, uh,
so I, you know, I certainly I'm, I'm, I'm-- I, I believe
in
the, like, the teachings of Christ.
I believe,
you know, h- that he's like...
I believe in the Christian principles.
Um,
uh, you know, love thy neighbor. I, I believe in turn the other cheek, which
is very important for y- to have forgiveness, 'cause
if you don't have
forgiveness, then you have an endless cycle of
retribution.
Um, you know, at, like, at, you know,
I, I used to think, like, "Why would you turn the other cheek?
That's ridiculous." Uh, you know, just punch him.
But,
and, and I, I think you do need to actually be strong.
Like, you, you can't be weak because if somebody's-- i-if,
if you're facing sort of
a, a, a predatory threat,
uh, and that threat is stronger than you, and that, and that threat doesn't believe
in Christian values, then you will just get, you know, uh,
executed. I mean, I don't know. But, but at a s- at a certain point, you, you,
you, it, once you are strong,
once you are,
once you are strong, you should for- you should forgive the, the, the
transgressions of, of others. Um,
you know, and this is obviously not something they believe in
the Middle East,
uh, which is why there's this endless cycle
of, of violence.
Um,
you know, so
I really think that, uh, yeah, um,
we should, uh,
yeah, should love thy neighbor, and, and we should forgive, and we should, uh,
we should be kind and gentle.
So-
Whoo!
Yeah. I believe, I believe in what Jesus, I believe, I believe in what Jesus said.
