Vitamin C and DMSO in Skin Cancer Treatment

This study is crazy. Topical vitamin C in

DMSO was able to

completely eliminate 56% of

skin cancers in just 12 weeks. So they got

like 17 patients with squamous cell carcinoma in

situ, which basically means these cancerous

lesions

on the skin that are still confined to the skin.

They applied it twice a day for 12 weeks directly

onto the skin cancer lesions. And

literally 56% of all the lesions in the study

were completely eradicated. And

44% of the lesions shrank by

over 85%. And

94% of these individuals were able to avoid

surgery. So this is very, very promising.

The DMSO was primarily used as a skin

penetrator to help push the vitamin C

inside of the skin cancer lesions, which appeared to

have effectively killed the cancer cells or

was a combination of the activity of both DMSO

and vitamin C. Now we got to do larger randomized

trials to confirm this. But in the meantime,

this seems to be much better than undergoing surgery.
