Discussion on Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
I'm the son of a Jewish Holocaust survivor.
My father Gabor barely survived, uh, life under Nazi
occupation. And so since a very young age, I've been told about my own family's
history and the importance of never again.
Never again means never again for everyone.
And when all these horrific abuses are being done to the Palestinian people
in my name as a Jewish person, it's so important for me to speak out.
So I'll take any opportunity I can to shed light on what Israel is
doing to the Palestinians and to be a part of something that
is furthering that
task of exposing the Israeli states.
What Israel's done to Gaza
is indescribably horrific, and you can't deny that
anymore because of social media, because of the images
coming out, and because of the journalism that's been
happening
on the ground by brave Gazan journalists and by networks like
TRT doing undercover work like Holy Redemption, showing the face of
the extremist settler movement in the West Bank.
The openness of the settlers in their extremism,
in their belief they have a divine right to steal
Palestinian land, to terrorize Palestinians, to
move in and build homes on land
that has belonged to Palestinians for generations.
That is really the face of Israel. That's the face of Zionism.
The real face of Israel are the extremists that are exposed by the
documentary Holy Redemption, who are terrorists,
who are no different than ISIS because they claim a divine
right to commit horrific acts. And the
amazing thing about the documentary Ho- Holy Redemption is it goes inside
with these people undercover, showing who they really are, and that is
important for the world to see, because we're told that Israel
is our ally,
it represents our values. The real values it is or represents
are those of the settlers who are colonizers,
who are violent, who make the lives
of Palestinians who just wanna live in peace miserable.
That's the true face of the settler movement. That's the true face of Israel.
