Police Bust Terror Module in Batala

ISI-backed terror networks. Batala police has busted a BKI

terror module operated by foreign-based handlers.

Maninder Billa and Manu Agwan on the directions of

Harvinder Singh Rinda, arresting total-- a total of six operatives.

Now, Jatin Kumar, Rohan,

Sohit and Sunil Kumar, these are the names of, uh,

the six operatives who have been arrested.

And we also understand that the module had attempted a grenade

attack

outside a liquor vend-vendor in Batala

district.

And, uh, an FIR has been registered at, uh, the

PS Civil Lines under relevant sections of the

BNS and UAPA. And we also understand that a

thirty crore pistol has also been recovered.

Uh, well, uh, if you talk about it's a major

breakthrough which the, uh, Punjab

police, uh, have got. In this, there was a, a brief

encounter in which, uh, the six, uh, operatives of

the, uh, uh, BKI, uh, the Harvinder Singh Rinda,

uh, have been arrested by the Batala police.

Uh, if you talk about in this encounter, uh, one of the, uh,

operative, uh, Jatin has been, uh, injured.

Uh, while if you talk about the recovery, one, uh, thirty

bore pistol has also been recovered.

Uh, Harvinder Singh Rinda, uh, is a, a notorious

terrorist who is, uh, hiding in Pakistan, uh, and

after, uh, Happy Passi was being arrested in USA.

Uh, after that, uh, the one who wa- who is dealing with this

gang, who is operating this, uh, gang, uh, his name is Manu

Agwan, uh, who is-- who was giving directions to all the, uh,

six operatives who have been, uh, arrested by the Batala police.
