Discussing Upcoming Projects and Personal Style
So in terms of upcoming projects, I'm about to
go off and shoot Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum with an
unbelievable group of people. Yeah, bit of a dream job, actually.
Can't really believe it. I see it as a, as an honor that I'm getting to enter that
world with those people and try to build on the amazing work
that's
already been done within that, within that story.
How has my
experience with style changed? I think I just have an appreciation of it.
You know, I moved to London at 20 and was started modeling then.
24 years later,
a lot has changed within fashion and in, in many ways, a lot
hasn't. My appreciation of, of fashion is
always
slightly not fully grasping and understanding it in terms of
the industry and the way it works. It's constantly shifting,
and that's by the
very nature of it, it, it needs to shift.
But it's endlessly fascinating and entertaining.
I think I just become more and more safe.
You know, I just wanna be comfortable.
I think style is comfort at the end of the day.
Yeah, I get safer and safer of every, every passing year.
Do I see a difference between the way I approach acting and the way I approach
style?
I put a lot more thought into acting, for sure.
I don't put a lot of thought into style. I have lots of the same thing.
I wanna take the thought out of all that.
I wanna just wake up, almost like a uniform,
and just put something on that I know
that I don't have to spend a lot of time considering, more so 'cause I've
got three kids, and I just don't have time in the morning
to think about myself.
Personal style is important to me, but
it's important to me just to be comfortable in something that I feel
is representative of who I am. It's functional for me, style.
