Political Leadership and Governance in Kentucky

So when you explain it to people who aren't from Kentucky, how you've been

governing, how you've remained popular, how you got reelected as a Democrat there,

what do you tell them?

Well, I tell them, uh, it's three parts.

Now, the first is I stand up for all my

convictions.

I've vetoed every anti-LGBTQ+ bill, uh,

anti-choice bills, anti-diversity bills,

but I spend 80% of my time on things that matter to 100% of the

people of my state.
