What was surprising

here is that

people who are, had operational responsibility in

real time

were cognizant, they were aware that their

flagship system

for detecting signals of harm

was blind.

But they never acknowledged the deficiency publicly,

they never altered the algorithm,

and beyond that, th-they, they stepped on

the neck of the medical officer who repeatedly,

at great risk to her own well-being, reputation,

had brought these issues to their awareness.

And

in the words of the top vaccine regulator at

FDA, an oncologist named Peter Marks, they told

her to, quote, "Cease and desist," unquote.
