Effective Exercise for Stomach Tightening
One move, not a sit-up, not a crunch, will tighten that stomach flab faster than
anything else. You actually can do this lying down on
your back in your pajamas
right before you go to bed. But before I tell you what it is,
you have to
understand something about your stomach, specifically the superficial
flab that a lot of people have on their midsection. It looks like fat.
In many cases, it's not. It's loose connective tissue, and it's
called fascia. The fascia has atrophied.
So many people don't activate it correctly, so it atrophies and it gets
loose. And dieting does not fix this problem at
all.
Doing two hundred sit-ups also doesn't fix this problem. Crunches don't fix it.
Planks don't fix it. What fascia actually responds to
is body tension.
When you have your opposite arm and your opposite leg pulled away from
each other
at the exact same time, that triggers a deep fascial layer that
pulls tight like a corset from the inside.
When you activate it, your waist visibly slims down.
Your posture even gets better. Your lower back pain dramatically gets
better.
The exercise is called dead bug. I know, it's a funny name, but it works.
Lie on your back, arms straight up, knees at ninety degrees.
Slowly extend your right arm back behind your head and your left leg straight
out. Then switch. Opposite arm, opposite leg.
Slow, controlled, lower back pressed into the floor the
whole time
because as soon as you lose that arch, the tension is lost.
You wanna keep that tension on the midsection the whole time.
Do ten reps each side right before bed for two weeks.
Come back and tell me what happened. I think you'll be very happy.
