Vitamin C and Grape Seed Extract Study
This study is crazy. Vitamin C plus grape seed extract
shrunk cancerous tumors better than the most
potent chemotherapy in existence,
doxorubicin, in mice. The nutraceutical
combo, grape seed extract and vitamin C, produced
twenty-five percent smaller tumors
than the powerful chemotherapy drug.
They basically injected cancer, millions of cancer cells
into about seventy different mice.
Um, there was a control group, um, which had zero
percent reduction. Obviously, they didn't get any treatments.
Then you had the vitamin C alone group.
You got the grape seed extract alone.
Those mice had a sixty-three percent reduction in tumor volume
compared to the control.
You got to chemotherapy, doxorubicin, nicknamed the "red
devil" because it's red and highly cytotoxic.
That achieved a sixty-eight point eight percent tumor volume
reduction compared to the untreated controls, while also
destroying the entire body. Then you get to the
very top. The grape seed extract plus
vitamin C achieved the most tumor
reduction out of all of these compounds,
seventy-six point six percent reduction in mean
tumor volume compared to the untreated controls.
So yeah, this is in animal models, and obviously this would need to
be tested in humans. But regardless, you know, when you have two
non-toxic, very safe, cheap
compounds, uh, shrinking tumors more than a highly
potent chemotherapy, um, that does warrant an
urgent study immediately because, you know, nobody wants to
destroy their whole body with these cytotoxic agents.
