Discussion of Shia Beliefs and Bassem Karbalaei’s Laments

Honestly, I was shocked by one of the streams. I heard him say that Shia are not Muslims.

I want to know why they aren't Muslims. I mean, I didn't come up here to debate or argue with him.

I just want to understand this matter. By God, there's no need to be shocked if you truly know the Shia faith.

The Shia faith is based on polytheism, praying to the dead, and deifying the Twelve Imams, and this is very clear in their books and elegies.

Do you know Bassem al-Karbalaei? Yes, I know him.

Bassem al-Karbalaei has an elegy in which he says, “Ali made the earth a resting place and built above us seven mighty heavens.”

Is this something a Muslim would say? Who built seven mighty heavens above us?

And who made the earth a resting place, according to the Holy Quran?

Wasn't it God, glorified and exalted? God, glorified. Yes.

That's Bassem al- Karbalaei, with millions of Shia behind him repeating after him, “Ali made the earth a resting place.”

He has another lamentation where he says—says “When Jonah drowned, he called out, ‘O Ali!’”

And they clap behind him or beat their chests behind him.

Our master Jo— he says of our master Jonah, peace be upon him, that he drowned, even though our master Jonah didn’t drown in the first place.

I don’t know where he got this information.

Uh, the whale swallowing him doesn’t mean he drowned.

He drowned, peace be upon him. And the Holy Quran says of our master Jonah, peace be upon him, that he called out in the darkness, “There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I was indeed among the wrongdoers.”

And the Shiites say he called out, “O Ali!”

The lamentation is on YouTube. It has millions of views, millions of likes from the— Shiites.

By the way, this isn’t an isolated case.

None of the Shiite authorities have come out to condemn this statement.

Huh? Go ahead, tell me. Did al-Sha… al-Razi condemn it?

Did al— al- Sistani, if he even spoke about it at all, at least write this in these fatwas for us?

Did you— condemn that? He didn’t. None of the recognized authorities The Rafidah have no more objectionable lament than one by Basim al- Karbala'i.

I—quite the opposite. They welcome him in, in Karbala and hold parties for him, paying him millions to perform all these lamentations.

And many other things. Then there's the matter of cursing the Companions and attacking the Companions, and cursing the Mothers of the Believers and attacking them.

This is widespread among, among the Shia.

Let me ask you something. Do y— you approve of our master Muawiyah, may Allah be pleased with him?

Honestly, I don't know him, but let me try to read up and find out who he is.

Because I'm not very knowledgeable about religion.

All right, anyway. I said, whoever believes— and this is what most Shia believe— if there are exceptional cases, outliers that are hardly known to everyone, then we judge the person who holds this belief, like you and so on,

And the addition of the phrase— by consensus— as the Shiites themselves admit, did not exist in the time of Ali ibn Abi Talib or in the time of the Imams.

It was added to the call to prayer: “I bear witness that Ali is the guardian of God.”

This is an Imam, one of the fallible Imams, who says, says that they added to the call to prayer: “I bear witness that Ali is the guardian of God.”

This was only added recently. Many issues aren't based solely on— I mean, not everyone who says, “I don't, I don't declare the Companions unbelievers, nor do I disparage the Companions,” “nor do I disparage the Mothers of the Believers,” has sound beliefs.

No, there are other problems. There are other calamities, the first and greatest of which, greater than the issue of the Companions, is associating partners with God and deifying the Twelve Imams.
