I grew up as a poor Christian kid in Texas and Oklahoma.
I was homeless at 14, never so much as met a Jew, never learned about Israel, probably couldn't have found it on a globe if you gave me two weeks, a magnifying glass, and a flashlight.
That's just the truth of the matter. Israel is a blip.
It's about the size of New Jersey. It's almost a joke how small it is.
There are fewer than 16 million Jews in the entire world.
That's less than two-tenths of 1% of the world's population.
Not 2%, two-tenths of 1%. Compare that to roughly 2.3 billion Christians and 2 billion Muslims.
Nearly half of the world's Jews live in Israel, and about four in 10 live right here in the United States.
Israel has spent its entire existence trying to make peace with its Palestinian neighbors.
It accepted the UN's plan for two states in 1947.
It offered the Palestinians a state in 2000, again in 2008.
In 2005, it pulled every soldier and every settler out of Gaza.
And on October 7th, what did it get? Terrorist monsters who raped and slaughtered Israeli women and children in their own homes, their own beds, their own cribs.
