You cannot come into my backyard. Back up. I came in for five hours.
I need you to back up. Put your finger down. Back up. Put your finger down. Back up.
Put your finger down. You're coming closer to me. Look how close you are to me.
Put your finger down. Back up. Call your supervisor over here.
Yeah, my supervisor's gonna come in a second, all right? Call your supervisor.
Yeah, he's gonna come. Back up. Meanwhile, I need ID. Back up. You're on my property. I need your ID.
You are on my property. You have your ID with you or no?
You're on my property. What's your name? You're on my property. What's your name?
Call your supervisor here. Yeah, I'm here for a reason.
Call your supervisor here. What's your first and last name?
Call your supervisor over here. You gonna give me your first and last name or no?
Call your supervisor over here. He's gonna come.
Do you have your ID with you or no? I haven't broken the law. You haven't broken the law?
I have not broken the law, no. And unless you- Okay ... you better figure out who you're talking to because I know the law, and you went into my backyard.
Okay. We have a problem. Get off of my property right now. Okay. Yeah, I'm, I'm coming back.
Get off of my property. I'm calling your supervisor. I'm coming back right now.
Great. Stay, stay right there. Get off, get off my prop- No, I'm gonna escort you off my- You, you can't escort me.
I can escort you off my property. This is my property. Right now.
You need to get off of my property immediately.
Back up. Do, do not touch me. When you- Do not touch me.
What is wrong with you? First name. Back off of my property.
First name. Back off. Back off my property.
You playing loud music. You are trespassing.
In a downtown neighborhood. You are trespassing. No.
Are you- You are trespassing Do you even know what you're talking about?
You are trespassing. Do you even know what you're talking about?
Yes. You see the sign that says no trespassing?
Yeah. You are trespassing on my property, and you went behind my closed gate. So you are trespassing. It's not a closed gate.
It's open. It's not an open gate. No, it's not. Yeah, there's a lock on it.
It self-closes. Okay. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if it has a lock on it.
I'd like to see what's going on. It's clearly- Loud music goes, there's nobody here.
It's clearly intended to enclose in a manner. Do you know the law?
I'm gonna call my supervisor. This can't be happening. Enclosed in a manner...
Yeah, get off the property. Yeah, he's coming right now. Yep.
How dare you come into my property? Asking for your- I haven't broken any law. Get off my- No?
You are breaking the law. You are breaking the law. Which law? You are trespassing.
You are trespassing. Do you even know what you're talking about, trespassing?
Get off of my property. I'm gonna go back. I am telling you. I'm gonna be back.
I'm ordering you off of my property. I'm gonna be back.
I'm ordering you off of my property. Get off of my property.
I haven't broken the law. You, officer, are breaking the law. Okay. I'll, sure, I'll stand here.
You couldn't even hear my, my music from outside. Couldn't even hear it.
It's all on video. Okay. It was on, right?
When, when, when I came out, right?
Yeah, take down whatever license plate you want, but you need to get off my property. Get off of my property right now.
Put your hand down, guy. Don't touch me. I'm not. Do not touch me.
What is wrong with you? Get off of my property. I don't know how many times I have to tell you.
I'm not touching you, but you keep putting your hands on me. Are you kidding me?
You're walking into me. Because I'm escorting you off of my property. You're not escorting me anywhere.
Get off of my property. And I'll be back with your supervisor.
Yeah, get your supervisor over here. I'll be back with whoever you are, but...
How dare you. Stand here and you'll be okay when I come back.
How dare you. And I will still stand here.
How dare he push me on my property. This is my property. Get off.
Hello, patriots. So we are here at the Sixth Precinct here in Selden, New York, right here on Long Island.
This is the precinct where Officer Ahmed is from.
That's why his vehicle had a 600 number on it.
So we're gonna see if we could, uh, speak to a supervisor here because what just happened was egregious and he needs to be held accountable.
I need to speak to his supervisor.
And somebody very specific or- I'm sorry?
Are you speaking to somebody specific? You were, uh- No, I just...
There was an officer that came to my home, and I need to speak right now.
Yeah. He just... He left and I came here, and I need to speak to a supervisor about the conduct of the officer.
Do you have your ID? Um, no, I'm not gonna give my ID right now.
I just wanna speak to somebody. All right. They'll be with you shortly.
Thanks. Appreciate it. I'll just let them know you're here. Yep, no problem.
One eternity later. Hey, how are you? Fine, just moving. How are you? How you doing? Uh, what was your name?
My name is, uh, Sergeant Cromer. It's K-R-O-M-E-R. Okay. My name is Shaun-Paul Reyes. Nice to meet you.
I, I'm here to, uh, to speak with you regarding an officer that just came to my home.
Okay. An Officer Ahmed. What happened? Um, so he came to my home and I was inside.
Uh, we were having a Memorial Day barbecue, had some friends and family over. Okay.
Uh, just enjoy- just enjoying the day. Okay.
And my, uh, wife and her friends came running inside to me terrified because a police officer apparently was in my backyard.
He was inside your backyard or in the backyard?
In, in the backyard, yeah. Okay. He came into my backyard. Okay.
So I came out the front because apparently they had told me he, he left the backyard already. Okay.
So I went to the front of the house, saw him by the, by the front porch, and I said, "What are you doing coming into my backyard?"
He admitted that he tried... He said, allegedly, he tried to knock on the door, um, and then he went into the backyard.
I said, "Well, what gave you probable cause or, and do you have a warrant to enter my backyard?"
And he said, "No, I just went into your backyard."
Um, I told him... At that point, I told him...
He said he'd gotten allegedly a, uh, noise complaint from someone. Okay.
Um, again, this had happened probably like 5:30ish. Okay.
Um, not, not loud at all. Uh, you couldn't even hear the music from the front yard, um, which will be on my video.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
