Vitamin C and DMSO in Skin Cancer Treatment
This study is crazy. Topical vitamin C in
DMSO was able to
completely eliminate fifty-six percent of
skin cancers in just twelve weeks.
So they got like seventeen patients with squamous cell
carcinoma in situ, which basically means these
cancerous lesions on the skin that are still confined to the skin.
They applied it twice a day for twelve weeks directly
onto the skin cancer lesions, and
literally fifty-six percent of all the lesions in the study
were completely eradicated, and
forty-four percent of the lesions shrank by
over eighty-five percent, and ninety-four
percent of these individuals were able to avoid surgery.
So this is very, very promising. The DMSO
was primarily used as a skin
penetrator to help, uh, push the vitamin C
inside of the skin cancer lesions, which appear to
have effectively killed the cancer cells or, or
was a combination of the activity of both DMSO
and vitamin C. Now we gotta do larger randomized
trials to confirm this, but in the meantime, uh, this seems
to be much better, uh, than undergoing surgery.
