Fake NFL Players and Their Deceptions
We have officially found a second guy pretending to be an NFL player.
So if you live under a rock and haven't seen this Daijahn Muff
situation happening,
people are going crazy over it. But in the past 12 hours,
we had another one
emerge, Urisagi IV, who was apparently a Super Bowl
champion punt returner and safety.
The man played for the Bucs and the Cowboys.
I mean, look at this footwork right here. Absolute- look at, he's cooking.
And his AI overview on Google said he went to Coastal Carolina and then transferred
to Georgia, where he got drafted into the NFL.
I mean, shit, the dude even signed with Roc Nation.
Uh, look at the Photoshop job by Roc Nation,
right? Uh, incredible.
But come to find out, um, none of this happened at all.
First and foremost, he's listed on the 2017 Shorter University
football
roster, and he has no statistics to go with it.
Second of all, this guy, who was apparently a former acquaintance of
his, said that
he tried out for football at Coastal Carolina and then got cut after spring
ball. Number three, I found this guy's Pinterest,
and he has this photo
of the Buccaneers roster from 2021, I think.
He photoshopped it. He didn't even use the same font.
It's not even the same size as everybody else.
And by the way, if you want more stories ESPN doesn't
cover, make sure you're
following. This man was taking screenshots of Cowboys 2024
practices and
claiming that this person was him, and then tagging himself,
and then posting it to
Tumblr to make it seem like somebody tagged him.
Now, here's where it gets a little bit weird,
and it's, I don't know if it's really
illegal or not, but he had an open sponsorship page where
he was selling social
media deals for $240, brand ambassador deals for $600,
and appearance deals for $3,000. And if you
look on Facebook, there are so many people who say, "Oh,
we're proud to have
this guy at our event this weekend." Now this is the question I gotta ask.
Is he technically doing anything wrong here?
Like, is this like hiring a clown or a fake Jack Sparrow
or a Spider-Man for a
kid's birthday party? Uh, I, I don't know.
The dude even managed to get articles written about him,
how he signed a two-year,
two-and-a-half million dollar contract somehow. I don't get it.
But remember, this man doesn't e- he was never in the NFL.
Not, not one single snap. Now, for what it's worth,
I think the dude's really got
it like that. He's got a lot of money.
Apparently, he owns, like, four med spas and a couple gyms
and stuff too.
He's always going to Monaco. Like,
he might actually be wealthy, but I think now might be the actual time
to tell
everyone.
