Princess Diana Book Release Controversy
Princess Diana is back in the news, and her brother has just
released a book about Princess Diana, and it's kicked
off a lot of fuss from the royal family.
BBC have been interviewing him.
Look what he starts with. Listen to what he says.
And in your book, you recount how
your little girl, Eliza,
said, "She's not dead in real life, is she?"
Yeah.
She's not dead in real life.
It was really heartbreaking. I was alone in the house with my four
children, who
were very small at the time, and, uh, my three little girls came
tumbling through into the kitchen, and Diana had just been staying with us a
few
months earlier in Cape Town. So when I said,
"I'm afraid I got this terrible
news," and they just looked up at me, and I said, "Yes, I'm, I'm afraid Aunt
Diana's died." And that's what Eliza said, "Not in real life, Daddy."
Not in real life, Daddy.
Utterly heartbreaking.
They're telling us. This whole interview is telling us, again,
we are watching
a scripted movie. He also then goes on to say...
He'd told the boys, William and Harry, at Balmoral and broken the news to them.
And I, I,
I felt, as I say in the book, actually, I felt there was a sort of giddy tone.
I-
He was a bit giddy.
You write that he was giddily elated
like a lottery winner.
Had a lot of calls that day from people who cared,
who were stunned like we all were, and I just felt there
was a, a lightness in his tone about Diana's
death that really
jarred with me.
They're making it so obvious. They're priming us.
Princess Diana is a big part of this awakening.
A lot of people have heard that rumor that she's still alive.
Well, they're making these videos now, bringing her back into our awareness.
You got other big names are back into our awareness too.
Julian Assange is another one. So all these big characters, all these
big names, all this whole storyline that's been going
back now for thirty
years since her death is all starting to come into the forefront
because we are going through the Great
Awakening.
I just listened.
And then he stopped, and I thought, "Ah, now.
Now he's gonna pull himself together and say something more appropriate."
And then he said, "We'll forget her soon enough."
I know, uh, this is not a threat, it's a fact.
I know lots of things about
the King which I chose not to include in the book because they were not
relevant.
