Cultural Reflections on Devotion and Peace

Well, it deepens me to come to a country where people have devotion.

For me, devotion is everything.

To be devoted and understand that there is one God, one Allah.

You know, in your country, Muhammad is everything. For me, it's the same.

I feel the same way in a country that has a devotion

to goodness, grace, and God energy.

So, it changed my life for me to understand how a different culture

worships and lives and makes film is very important to uplift me as a human being.

For me, you are a mirror for me.

All of your people in Morocco are a mirror for who I am.

You grow me, you uplift me.

And if I'm really looking, I'm seeing the truth organically and beautifully.

So, it's a great sharing, and I wish more people from America could come here

and really understand the fabric and the beauty of your people.

Peace comes from within.

If you become peaceful, the world around you becomes peaceful.

You can start to affect a larger and more equivalent peace

by being around people who yearn to be around you.

So, if we don't have peace inside, we'll never have peace outside.
