Paraguayan Beef Exports to the US

I know that the Trump administration put up some high tariffs for a lot of

countries looking to get their beef exports into United States.

Are you sending more of your beef to the US right now?

Yes, but we are sending with the, with the tariff.

Paraguay doesn't have a particular tariff.

Uh, we are one of the, uh, largest exporter on, on

humbly, I think the Paraguayan beef is the best in the world.

So, uh-

So is the, is the president of United States asking

you to send more?

Uh, yes, they are sending, but, uh, they have decided not to allocate

a particular quota for Paraguay. Uh, and they have a particular quota

in, in, in South America for Argentina, and then the rest of the world, and

we are, uh, within, uh, that category, which of

course, uh, Brazil takes most of it because it's a

much larger

market. Uh, but we, we are expanding our export.

I mean, the US with the prices currently, they are demanding more and more

and, and Paraguay is a very reliable and, and strong partner.
