Critique of Wealth Inequality and Socialism
This is a socialist country, but it's socialism for the rich.
It's not socialism for you. What do you think they did with the banks?
So when we, when the, when the banks, uh,
r- turn-- When they turned banks into casino hopping
and investment banking
into betting, which is what it was, a scam.
It w- And, and then when it all came crashing down like we
knew it would,
they took your tax money and they gave it to the banks,
and they kicked you out of
your house.
So that's socialism for the rich and rugged individualism for everybody
else. They took your money, gave it to the banks,
made sure they didn't miss a
bonus payment, and, uh, they kicked you out of your houses.
That's what they did. We got all the socialism
and none of the good parts of it.
All the bad parts of socialism where they take your money and they give it to
people richer. It's an upward transfer of wealth.
It's not a, it's not the other way around where
they're not taking money from the
rich people and spreading it out. They're taking it from everybody,
and they're
funneling upwards to rich people. That's what we have right now.
That's what we've had in this country since, I don't know, nineteen eighty.
There's a whole generation of people who can't buy a house,
and so what they did was they inflated.
So if you had money in the bank, the money in the bank got, was
worth less.
But if you had assets, if you owned property and things,
it all got
inflated because they print money, which makes those things worth more,
but your actual money is worth less.
So regular people with savings got screwed, and so we have socialism
for the wealthy and rugged individualism for you, and you're
told that's capitalism and to be afraid of the socialists.
Well, the people on Wall Street are socialists. I don't know
if you know that.
It's socialism for them.
It's, it's like if they can make as many risky
bets as they want, and when they go
belly up, they get bailed out by the government,
which is socialism, and
you have to pay that price. This is not capitalism.
This is, uh, oligarchy run for the oligarchs, by the
oligarchs, for the oligarchs. It's not...
It's supposed to be of the people, by the people, for the people.
It's of the oligarchy, for the oligarchy, by the oligarchy.
What do you call a system
that takes the richest country in the world and makes half of its people unable
to afford a thousand dollar emergency, and seventy percent of those people have
to
work paycheck to paycheck? You call that a failed system.
But it's not failing for the people who actually run things.
It's working great, and those people are raking it in
while you go to work every
day as a sucker and you get screwed over and over, and you're n-- you can't even
save money because it's zero percent interest rate to try to save it, and
then the money you do have is worth even less because-
Congratulations.
Welcome, welcome to the Democrat and Republicans America.
And they don't work for you. They work for an oligarchy,
a deep state, a military industrial complex,
an international
security state. And the wars are not meant to be won,
they're meant to be ongoing,
as Julian Assange taught us, so they can extract wealth from you,
and that's
exactly what's happening right now.
You think a one point five trillion dollar military budget, Pentagon budget, is
not wealth extraction? That's exactly what it is.
They could take that...
M-Imagine if they took a trillion of that dollars and gave it to t-the top
fifty
cities in America and said, "Fix up your cities,
build affordable housing, build high-speed trains, build,
uh, infrastructure, give people jobs doing all those things,
build
more schools, add a teacher to every classroom,"
which they could do with a
trillion dollars. They could do all that.
That would be investing in America. That, that's not what they're doing.
They're taking the money that should be spent on you,
and they're giving it to the
people who are already wealthy
while they start more wars. Barack Obama's not a left-winger.
Barack Obama's a corporatist, just like the rest of them. He had a boss.
His boss was Wall Street. His boss was the military industrial complex.
He dropped more bombs than George Bush for F's sake. Are you kidding me?
Uh, he, he's the one who made the b-- he gave the bankers the bailout while he
kicked five point one million families out of their house.
The only thing that's worth anything in this country is fricking s-- is Social
Security and Medicare. Medicare is the,
the most, uh, popular healthcare system in the country.
Nobody on Medicare would trade in their Medicare to go for Aetna or
UnitedHealth, which by...
They're, they're programmed to deny a third of
your...
So if you get sick, a third of the things you need
are gonna be, uh, denied, and
they rake in billions of dollars,
and they've got people brainwashed into thinking somehow if you
could have affordable healthcare or you could buy into Medicare, that's
somehow bad socialism and you're a communist.
But they're taking all your money and giving it to UnitedHealth and the, the
pharmaceutical companies while you can't afford your own h- H-
People have to...
They can't even afford their prescriptions.
And d- you don't think you're paying for data
centers?
You're paying for data centers. You're paying for it.
You think that they're-- No. They're gonna do,
they're doing quantitative easing
so they can have that money, so they can send...
And that quantitative easing makes your car loan more expensive, makes all your,
your, your, uh, mortgages more expensive, and it makes your money worth less,
and that's how they finance all this stuff off of screwing you.
And they got you hating your neighbor. They got you hating homeless people.
They don't want you realizing that we're all being screwed by a system
that funnels your money and gives it upwards.
That's what homeless people are there for, to keep you distracted and hating your
neighbor and hating people in worse situations than you.
Situations they could fix.
They could fix. They want them there.
Somehow we're gonna go fix Iran, we're gonna fix Ukraine, we're gonna fix
Venezuela, we're gonna fix Lebanon, we're gonna fix, b-but we
can't fix our own goddamn country? Of course we could. They don't want to.
Uh, I heard somebody said the other day
that we're the, uh, the United
States has now become the restaurant in Goodfellas.
Remember the restaurant in Goodfellas?
They take the product in the front, they take it out the back,
and they sell it,
and then when the, then they burn it for insurance.
That's what we're doing right now to the United States.
They're fleecing the United States.
If you find yourself being angry at someone lower on the economic ladder than
you,
pretty good chance you're being manipulated by someone higher on the
economic
ladder than you.
Uh,
and that's by design.
That's by design. So again, uh, the message of this show, your
neighbor isn't the problem.
The problem is that you think your neighbor is the problem,
and that's all they care about is what you think.
'Cause if you think your neighbor's being screwed like you, you'll join with that
neighbor and overthrow them.
