The Holodomor: A Genocide by Hunger

They ate their own children to survive.

Kids were hunted like animals for meat.

28 000 people died every single day.

This is the Holodomor,

Stalin's deliberate genocide by hunger that

murdered millions of Ukrainians in 1932 and 1933.

The Soviet regime set impossible grain quotas on the breadbasket of Europe.

When the harvest couldn't meet them, they took everything.

Every kernel of wheat, every potato,

every seed for next year's planting.

The five stalks of grain law made picking up a few grains

from the ground a death sentence, even for children. Borders were sealed.

Villages that resisted were blacklisted and surrounded.

No food in, no people out.

The NKVD troops and activists raided homes,

confiscating every scrap, shooting anyone who fought back.

What came next was pure nightmare.

Starving people ate grass, bark, acorns,

and leather until their bodies swelled and burst. Then they ate their pets.

Then the corpses lying in the street and field. Cannibalism became survival.

Soviet police archives documented thousands of cases.

The real number was far higher. Mothers butchered and ate their own children.

Neighbors kidnapped and hunted starving kids for food.

A black market in human flesh operated in the city.

Those who refused to eat the dead died first.

8 000 Ukrainians perished every day,

entire families wiped out in days, children suffered and died first,

villages went silent.

This was no natural disaster, it was engineered genocide.

Stalin targeted destruction of the

Ukrainian nation to crush resistance,

nationalism, and peasant life.

Ukrainian grain was exported abroad while millionaires starved in agony.

The Holodomor, death by hunger, one of the darkest genocides of the 20th century.

But yet they don't teach this very often.

There is a sole focus on the Holocaust,

and I bet you can guess who were the hands that were pulling the strings for the

Bolshevik revolution.
