Discussion on Sexual Violence and Propaganda

Look, speaking of denials and minimisation about what happened,

our own former Australian of the Year, Grace Tame, made some shocking comments

on our public broadcaster, the ABC, calling reports of sexual violence by

Hamas propaganda that had been debunked. Let's take a look.

why she's selective in her outrage? She says, I've never heard her condemn

or speak out on behalf of the Israeli women who were raped and killed by Hamas.

I'm not going to sink to the level of entertaining any kind of propaganda,

Hamish. Those things have been debunked.

Well, Grace Tame has since been rewarded since that conversation with a podcast with the ABC,

that same broadcaster. Alana, what is your response to Grace Tame calling your experience

debunked propaganda? And how does it make you feel that she still

has a big role with our public broadcaster after that?

It's very distrusting because she, she go over rape and she say that she needs,

the woman needs to believe the other women. So I ask him why you need to believe women's

and I am a woman from a Jewish woman that you don't believe that there were rape and

sexual abuses in the seven on October that were kidnapped. There were more being there

were burning people. Why when he's come back, it's come from the Jewish woman,

Judy nail and you say there is propaganda. We are not politications. We are survivors.

We are people who take him from our home and destroy every piece for our souls.

Why I need again to talk to that people that they go through this to also for rape. And

she say that woman's need to believe woman's. And I need again, a stamp from another woman

that have to protect other woman and say it, look to my eyes and say that you are not

delaying the sexual abuses that has in from the group of Hamas, that is an organisation of

terrorism. That must be extremely distressing to hear those sorts of things. But thank you for
