Bucha Massacre: Claims About Memorial Names and Russian Denials

Back in 2022, the world's gaze was firmly fixed on Ukraine, and in April, early April of that year, it became focused particularly on a place called Bucha. Bucha was, we were told, the scene of a mass killing by Russian soldiers.

It became the touchstone, the centerpiece for an international campaign to increase pressure on Russia, even sanctions, and also to demonize the Russians and portray them as mass killers of civilians.

It is the unthinkable has happened here.

We have seen the cruel face of, um, Putin's army. We have seen the recklessness.

But some questions have remained and persisted as Russia has consistently denied any involvement in mass killings.

The pronouncements of a mayor who arrived in the town after the Russians had long departed to suggest all was well.

Days later, bodies started to appear. Satellite evidence from closely CIA-aligned companies like Maxar showing, uh, civilians scattered in the streets. And again, the Russians consistently denied any involvement and called this a staged fake.

The thing is that what they were, what they claimed to be civilian bodies were bodies of extremists from the Azov Nazi Battalion. They mixed names and last names, perpetrating a crime not only when they were carrying out this provocation,

but also they were misguiding the whole world.

What's most interesting is the evidence that has now appeared around the memorial in Bucha.

That memorial portrays the alleged victims of a massacre, and there are four hundred and fifty-six people on the wall.

But research has now shown conclusively, actually proven, that fifty-seven of the people who we're told were executed, murdered, uh, tortured in Bucha were actually, uh, officially Ukrainian servicemen, members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the police force, the territorial defense forces, or, uh, other militias who had been actively

fighting against the Russian army with weapons, combatants. And these are not, of course, innocent civilians allegedly massacred, uh, by the Russian forces. Twenty-six of those, uh, unofficial combatants who had taken up arms, uh, to use, uh, things like Molotov cocktails, improvised, uh,

explosive devices, or some of the thousands of weapons and grenades and other armaments which were dished out to local civilians. Seventy-four, most interestingly, have no digital footprint whatsoever.

There's no information about these people online or anywhere else, so nobody seems to know who they are, and that might speak to why the Ukrainian authorities have been so slow, uh, to offer any, uh, detailed information about who these alleged victims are.

So here we are in twenty twenty-six, and the Russians still maintain that there was no massacre in Bucha, that this was a staged event. There is, of course, uh, some video footage of Ukrainian troops arriving, uh, and words were spoken like, "Let's shoot the ones with white

armbands." White armbands which are given to civilians by the Russian forces who are occupying the town to ensure that they were safe.

We've had many, many, many other theories and, uh, pieces of evidence, uh, discredited, uh, introduced.

But these numbers, uh, on the wall who are being presented to you as victims of a mass murder certainly aren't people from Azov Brigade. The men who fought since twenty fourteen in the anti-terrorist operation, which was deployed by Kiev against the people of Donbas, are on the wall.

Men who took up shotguns, rifles, weapons, defended, uh, you know, uh, checkpoints, et cetera, are on the wall.

This has got to leave you asking some questions.

It's got to leave you saying, "Is all it seems when it comes to Bucha?"
