James Talarico on Gender, Policing, Guns and ICE

Every word you're about to hear is James Talarico's.

God is non-binary. Modern science obviously recognizes that there are many more than two biological sexes. In fact, there are six.

What does James Talarico call women? Neighbors with a uterus.

Every one of our neighbors with a uterus became the property of the state.

One of our neighbors with a uterus to be able to control their own body.

To everyone with a uterus in our state. On your kids.

If you deny your child's gender identity, that that's incredibly harmful.

And, and whether or not we can, we label it with the term abuse, I mean, it's abusive for sure.

You saw it in the anti-LGBTQ legislation, including the bill that would have denied gender-affirming healthcare to trans children.

All these ideologies stem from this, this Christofascism movement.

I was there when you defended the drag. Um, who's your favorite drag queen in Texas?

Oh my gosh. Probably Alyssa Edwards. Alyssa Edwards?

Yes. Thank you. I love Monkey Maze. Thank you so much.

On the police. It always rich to me that, um, defund the police is, um, considered off limits in our political debate.

If you come from a place of, of privilege, which I have my entire life as a white boy growing up in Texas.

On your guns. And I think- So assault weapons ban is still on the table.

Absolutely. On ice. It is time to tear down this secret police force.

That's James Talarico in his own words. He told you who he is. Talarico is for they, them.

Paxton is for you.
