Grzegorz Braun on Charges Over Opole Protest and Hanukkah Remarks

In my case alone, uh, on an

individual basis, the prosecutor's office

has added further Oleśnica- related charges

as well, uh, a charge

uh, based, uh, on the fact that, uh,

I, um, restored public order

in the market square in

Opole, uh, where, uh, I intervened

over an indecent act, which was

uh, an exhibition advertising perversions,

promoting sodomy. Uh, that is an indecent act.

I restored normality and, and public safety, uh,

uh, and that's why I have, uh, another charge.

So what else is there?

And some statement of mine, too.

This is particularly bizarre.

A statement of mine for the purposes of, uh,

some media outlets, uh,

independent ones, which were

willing to ask me anything at all.

A statem— a statement concerning my

parliamentary Hanukkah intervention

December 19, 2023.

And, and for that action,

that parliamentary intervention, for

putting an end to the excesses of Hanukkah, uh,

Talmudists, uh, racists, Satanists.

For that intervention, I have, as some of you may know,

a case, which has been going on

in court for a year, and no end is

in sight.

And here, I am additionally

charged in a new case.

Uh, a charge based on, um, a statement relating

to that event.

So, uh, ladies and gentlemen,

this is, uh,

this is an attempt to exclude me from

public life by burdening me, uh,

with responsibilities stemming

from the actions of prosecutors,

judges, police officers to

such an extent, that I simply won't

be able to make sense of it anymore,

uh,

t- to think straight,

and so that I won't have time for anything else.

It really takes quite a lot of time.

This year, uh, I will have workdays

prosecutorial and court proceedings,

um, I suppose, perhaps even

a total of a month and a half.

Um, and a year, as we know, has

twelve months, no more.
