Ethiopia’s Gold Refinery, Banknote Printing and Crypto Mining

For example, in crypto mining, with large companies,

it has started working. In a few years,

it is expected to become highly profitable. For many past years,

Ethiopia has been selling gold in raw, unrefined form. For the first

time, a gold refinery

is being built in Ethiopia by EIH,

and it is expected to

be completed in a few months. This will leave and bring in a great deal of wealth.

This is not all. Until today, Ethiopia has had its money, its

banknotes, printed

by going to a different

country.

This is a dangerous thing.

These countries have no obligation, either to us or to anyone else,

beyond a moral duty to provide,

and we have no way

to control it. EIH is creating that strategic capacity.

Many such key, often unspoken,

strategic capabilities are being built.
