Player explains Bruno’s quick pass and improvised shot

When did Bruno let you know that he was just gonna nudge the ball to you for

that? Uh, quite late. Yeah, it was a late one.

I said, "No, you shoot," because the sun was obviously creating a bit of distraction

for Dino in goal. Um, and then he said, "No, no, I'm gonna roll it," and rolled

it straight away. So it was about...

I think if you watch it back, you see my reaction that I'm like a bit late.

But I get there first and it was just about hitting the target then.

That's nothing you've worked on on the training ground?

That's just a spur of the moment thing that's happened in the game?

I think it's a bit of both. We tried it in pre-season...

...when we were out in America. I missed the opportunity.

It was very similar to... to the one today.

So that... as soon as I... I can get my shot off, it was about hitting the

target. Um, but also a bit of spur of the moment, a bit of creativity.

Um, I think that's what you need sometimes to...

to create that... uh, that... that opportunity...

...and they didn't see it coming, I don't think.
