Political violence against Guarani Kaiowá and Maxakali denounced

One day after the elections in Mato Grosso do Sul, a Guarani Kaiowá Indigenous person, murdered by poisoning the water. In recordings circulating in the Indigenous territory, there is a recommendation to put poison in the water trucks, which supply water in the Guarani Kaiowá territory. It is not as though the murder is being concealed.

Due to political persecution, even if President Lula wins, it will not decrease, because the agribusiness caucus is here and this is being done in an orchestrated manner.

Yesterday, we filed a complaint with the Regional Electoral Court, we filed a complaint with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, we filed a complaint with the Ministry of Justice, we filed a complaint with the Commission on the Amazon and Indigenous and Traditional Peoples, but I also wanted to place on record here

the same complaint before this Human Rights Commission. Next week, we We are going to approve a motion, and I would like to request Your Excellency's authorization to jointly approve a motion for a fact- finding mission to the territory of the Guarani Kaiowá people,

because we know that in the past year alone, 37 Indigenous leaders were murdered. Just as in Mato Grosso do Sul, the Maxakali people in the state of Minas Gerais had 65 percent of their territory burned by electoral criminal arson, which also said in the first round, the next day:

"Hey, let's burn down the whole village, because Flávio and Bolsonaro will take power."

In truth, we do not want a monarchy, what we want is democracy, because everyone kept walking around waving the Brazilian flag and saying they were patriots, and at the first opportunity, they fled Brazil.

That's why we're here, we will not flee Brazil.

We are the first in Brazil, although we are the last people to acquire the right to citizenship, only in 1973, regardless of the context.
