Southern Yemen Truce Initiatives and the Bab al-Mandab Conflict

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the master of the first and the last, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions.

Now then. Before I begin with the initiative put forward by Commander Abu Jibrin to the people of the southern governorates, I would like to explain the initiatives that came before it.

Earlier, the sheikhs of al- Sabiha submitted an initiative, with twenty- two sheikhs from among the most prominent tribes of al- Sabiha.

I received it personally and handed it to Commander Abu Hussein al-Madani, who is the Chief of the General Staff in Sanaa. The initiative called for Sanaa's forces to withdraw from all the areas they control overlooking the villages and countryside of al- Sabiha,

and for Sanaa's forces to remain in the direction of Bab al-Mandab, and to abandon the expansion they had made deep into al- Sabiha areas.

They would also not accept the other side establishing a military presence in the areas they had specified and identified by name.

The response came three days later, agreeing to this, and saying they were ready to withdraw from all these areas And they would be positioned high in the mountains overlooking Bab al- Mandab, in return for a guarantee from the al- Subayha tribes that they would not be betrayed from behind,

and that reinforcements would come from their areas.

If the al- Subayha sheikhs committed to that, Sana'a would commit to withdrawing from these areas.

This initiative was handed to Brother Hamad Shukri and Father Mahmoud al- Subayhi, and the Saudi side intervened and categorically blocked this initiative, and I am a witness to this.

They prevented any mediation between Sana'a and the tribes, and even deemed it treason, and issued later, some military leaders from al- Subayha said that they would execute anyone who took the initiative to do so.

Even though Saudi Arabia sends its ambassador to Sana'a when it wants a truce, and he concludes agreements and truces, and that is not considered treason, or betrayal, or anything of the sort.

But the agents working with it are not allowed to avenge their dead or enter into a truce without consulting it, getting its permission, or obtaining its approval. Then Mahmoud al-Subayhi and Hamad Shukri returned to those sheikhs and said,

"We are organizing the southern regions.

If the southern regions enter into a truce or a lull, we are ready for that.

The initiative came from Abu Jibrin, who said the matter concerns all the people of the southern governorates, and that Sanaa's forces are ready not to set foot in any part of the southern governorate, and to leave them to fight among themselves and Riyadh,

as they head to blockade Saudi ships at Bab al- Mandab, and they will not allow Saudi ships to pass through Bab al- Mandab until Saudi Arabia allows all ships to pass, opens the airports, lifts the blockade, and stops meddling in Yemen.

They have entered a fight to the death, as far as Sanaa and Riyadh are concerned.

Sadly, it is our sons who are paying the price, and the Saudis officially declare that they are ready to sacrifice tens of thousands for the Bab al- Mandab basin. I believe they will never reclaim it, because even if they take control of the areas overlooking Bab al- Mandab in Yaam,

the mountains that Sanaa's forces captured from the lands of al- Subayha and al- Mudariba to Kahbub and The soil of all these mountain ranges. I think Saudi Arabia will need a hundred years to reclaim them, and it won't reclaim them.

So this initiative is presented to the people of the southern provinces.

We discussed it, along with more than a hundred figures from the tribes and prominent leaders. But so far, we haven't found a single military leader from the southern provinces who has the authority to respond to that.

Some of the forces on the ground are led by the United Arab Emirates, and some of their leaders are still in Abu Dhabi.

Mohammed bin Zayed controls their decisions, and the larger part— about ninety percent of the forces on Yemeni soil fighting on the ground today— are under the control of Mohammed bin Salman. Saudi Arabia No single leader from the southern provinces can join you in any solution, whether war or peace,

or a truce or anything. The initiative remains open, and I believe…

It is an opportunity for people from the southern governorates not to get involved in this conflict, and to let Riyadh and Sanaa fight over Bab al- Mandab. This strait of Bab al- Mandab— we don't benefit from it at all.

And even if Saudi Arabia took control of it and American or European forces came later and took control of it, your task is to risk your life and shed your blood for the sake of controlling Bab al- Mandab.

Let them fight over Bab al- Mandab. You have no stake in it whatsoever.

And whoever tells you this is about religion or creed is a liar, and is fooling you.

I mean, fighting at Bab al- Mandab for the sake of God's religion or to make God's word supreme over the word of those who disbelieve.

No, no. This is a conflict of interests. Sanaa has made up its mind that it will not leave Saudi Arabia alone until it withdraws from Yemen. And the battle is not, as some imagine, just a rehearsal or something ordinary,

or a 2016 battle. This is a fight to the death, and there will be thousands of casualties if we don't act in time, if sensible people don't intervene from All of Yemen, especially us in the southern governorates, must make up for the cost, because the people of the...

...northern governorates fought to get things started, and they were not loyal to Saudi Arabia.

They would not send its forces to the north of the country. But we are the victims. First, the UAE deceived many of our sons, and used people from certain areas, specifically al- Dhale and Yafa.

Thousands of them were killed until they reached Kilometer 16. And here they are today.

Their leaders, Raed al- Hubahi, al- Jaari, and Abdul Fattah al- Saadi, and all the leaders who used to dance in Abu Dhabi after sacrificing thousands.

And today the Saudis are using our people from Aden and al- Sabiha as their main force. And if they achieve their interests, they will throw our sons to the wayside after they have sacrificed thousands. We are victims of these countries.

Whoever thinks Mohammed bin Salman or Mohammed bin Zayed are fighting so that the word of God will prevail, or fighting for religion, is fooling himself and envying…

The same. These two are competing, Mohammed and Mohammed, Mohammed bin Salman and Mohammed bin Zayed are competing over who shows more loyalty and makes more sacrifices for the United States of America and the loan.

They are competing over who will be the West's man in the region alone, They are not competing for God's religion, glory be to Him.

So don't let anyone fool you or tell you that the conflict with Mohammed bin Salman or Mohammed bin Zayed is for the sake of Paradise. I fear it leads to Hell.

This is the ruin of this life and the next, and the loss of this life and the next.

By God, neither bin Salman nor bin Zayed wants God's approval, nor do they want God's religion, nor do they want to support the truth. They are not fighting in God's cause, either.

They are just tools for the Americans and the Zionists in the region, and they are competing fiercely over who will be the Americans' and Zionists' man in the region.

And you, my dear boy, from Abyan or al- Subayha, or from any other region, by God, the One besides whom there is no god, by whom alone one should swear, I swear your blood is being sold cheaply for their sake, whether you are on this side or In that case, let Sana'a and Riyadh fight it out.

You have no skin in the game, nor... ...camel in this matter.

As for this initiative, the one who presents it and tells you “We will not intervene in the southern governorates, so protect yourselves. Protect your governorates, stay where you are.”

As for the Saudi troop buildups, the initiative states that.

I want to clearly deliver this message that I received: Any troop buildup affiliated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in any city, village, valley, mountain, or plain, or valley, Sana'a will target it, with deep regret. They will not wait for those people the Saudis are mobilizing to kill them, because,

frankly, they openly state that they are coming to kill them. So naturally, they will target them, although, by God, we are not happy about it, nor do we take part or support it. We hope, pray, and strive with all our might to spare these lives.

Whoever saves one life is as if they had saved all of humanity.

But today, those fanning the flames and fueling the fire with Saudi money are voices Many of them are far removed from the conflict, yet they want more bloodshed. Today, more than one thousand eight hundred and sixty- two graves have been dug in Abyan, Shabwa,

Al- Subaiha, and other regions, for what? So Saudi ships can pass.

What a shame, what a shame, by God! This initiative is still ongoing, and any figure or leader from the southern governorates of any faction who wishes to continue with it, it is still ongoing. These people do not want to intervene in the southern governorates,

but, but if you insist on being on the Saudis' side and mobilizing people from these regions to fight these forces, then the result will be as it was in Taiz. He was heading toward Bab al- Mandab, so the people of Taiz intervened and said the battle was theirs, and on Al- Alimi's feather, the dawn of Yemen,

and they are coming, o Sana'a! They entered his house and took control of ninety percent of Taiz.

They are at the gates of the city. Common sense tells you to let Riyadh and Sana'a fight it out, You have no stake in this, as I told you, in this matter, neither religion nor worldly affairs. As for religion, I explained to you that bin Salman and bin Zayed are tools of the West, and have nothing to do with the religion of God,

Glorified and Exalted, or the Companions of the Messenger of God, or the Mothers of the Believers, or anything else.

As for worldly affairs, you are losing. Every day, you lose a region.

He advances and advances and advances and advances, while you advance in the media and in selling illusions.

May God grant everyone what He loves and is pleased with.
