You're stressed about a job interview on a planet that won't survive.
You're, you're anxious about making it and becoming somebody when very soon, sooner than you imagine, whether you become someone or not, won't be remembered by a single soul.
That should already set you free.
For thousands and thousands of millions of years before you, there were people worried about landing jobs, surviving, passing school, making their parents proud, being somebody.
Nobody remembers them, not one. Their panic and their stress felt just as real as yours does right now.
History is full of people who lost sleep over things that vanished completely.
Whole countries disappear. Empires disappear.
The, the Mayan Empire, the, the Roman Empire.
Can you imagine how much fear and drama and d- difficult decisions had to be made during that time?
And it's not even a memory. It's, it's a history question.
But no one even knows the details of the people who had dreams, and passions, and fears, and love, and life.
It's as if it never happened. Yet you're here treating your to-do list like it's sacred scripture.
You turn play into pressure. You turn movement into measurement.
You turn life into a performance review.
And here's the part you forget. Do not let your peace be tied to the outcome of the thing you're trying to get.
Because one day sooner than you think, it will be just as if you never existed.
And truly, it doesn't matter. Don't tie your anxiety to impermanence.
Laugh at it. Do your best. Build what you want.
Build your career, your brand, your legacy.
Just don't forget what you're building is a sandcastle by the ocean.
As important as it seems to you, it's nothing more than a sandcastle by the ocean.
And anxiety comes from forgetting the tide exists.
The tide is coming for you and everything you create.
And very soon it'll be like the sandcastle was never there.
Seriousness is the disease. Play is the cure.
Handle your business, but don't worship it.
Create, but don't stress about it. Nothing here lasts long enough to deserve your fear.
You're on a floating rock inside infinity.
Relax your shoulders. This was always a game.
